-< Automatic Telephone Dialer>-
   -< Alarm Notification >-
         - When motion or fire is detected, the system automatically telephones up to
            6 different telephone numbers, playing your pre-recorded message.
          -The ESS-700 works with normal telephones, cellular phones and even pagers.
   -< Microphone Alarm Verification >-
         - A sensitive microphone allows any of the call receivers to listen in on the location
           to verify an alarm by pressing the pound [#] key on the telephone.
   -< Remote System Shut Off/Reset >-
         - After listening to the location for an alarm verification, if any of the 6 call
            receivers who decide no actual alarm has occurred, they may shut off
            the system via the phone, automatically rearms the unit
   -< Wireless Remote Control >-
         - Easy arming / disarming and viewing of captured images from up to 30 feet away.
          -Emergency SOS panic button for use in robberies or medical situations.

  -< Cable Installation >-
     ( Power Supply )
          Plug the AC Adapter into a wall outlet and into the ESS- 700 or into a 12 Volt DC
          battery, such as a car, boat or motor home cigarette lighter (2.1 mm DC barrel
          plug) - Center pin Positive (+)
     ( Telephone lines )
          Plug the telephone cable, that is supplied, into the ESS- 700 "LINE" jack and
          the other end into the wall jack.
          Plug your touch tone phone into the "PHONE" jack of the ESS-700 to program
          the auto phone dialer numbers.
          You can leave your phone connected in the ESS-700 for use as a normal phone
          or use a "T" connector at the wall jack and plug your phone in there.
     ( RCA Video cable )
           Plug the male end into the ESS-700 "VIDEO" jack and the other male end
           into your TV "VIDEO IN" jack or into your VCR "VIDEO IN" jack.
           If your TV is a "cable ready" only TV and does not have an RCA video input,
           you will have to plug the cable into a VCR "VIDEO IN" jack first or into a channel
           2/3 cable modulator (available from electronics store) and then into your TV set.  
  -< Placement Suggestions for Optimal Performance >-
          Put yourself in an intruders position, then try to determine the ultimate placement
           for the system.
           Put it in an area that the intruder will pass by when searching for valuables.
           Do not point the ESS-700 toward the windows outside or in direct sunlight.
           Keep in mind that the PIR detects heat, so pets could possibly set-off an alarm.

-< Automatic Phone Dialer>-
  -< Telephones/Cellular Phones >-
       1) Find the four buttons marked "A,B,C,D" on the side of ESS-700.
       2) Press and hold "A" button, then Press the right "FF>>" button on the remote
           controller until you hear a "BEEP", release to start the setup. 
       3) To input "777-1234", using the telephone, Press "1" (first number to dial)
           and then "777-1234".
       4) To input a second number to dial, Press "A" again, then "2" and "the second
            number to dial". Repeat this process for up to six different telephone numbers.  
       5) Press "D" to finalize the phone number programming. You will now hear a "BEEP"     
           and the Yellow LED is 'on'.
  -< Pagers >-
       For pagers, Press the star "*" key after inputting the pager number, then
       a code such as "911" for a numeric message. Press "B" followed by "D"
       when you are finished. 

-< Message Recording >-
       1) Press the "B" button on the side of the unit and the right "FF>>" button
           on the remote control at the same time. You will hear a "BEEP"
       2) Press and HOLD the "A" button to start the recording and then RELEASE
           the "A" button when you have finished saying your message.
           (20 seconds of recording time) 
       3) Press "D" to set. Message can be re-recorded at any time.
       4) Press "B" to listen to the recorded message.  

-< Remote Control Operation >-
  -< Arming >-
       The system by pressing the left " <<REW " button on the remote control.
       The flashing green LED starts, and you will hear 2 "beeps". However,
       the system will not activate until there is no motion sensed for 32 seconds.
   -< Dis-Arming >-
       The system by pressing the right "FF>>" button on the remote control
       for more than one second. You will then hear a 'Beep'. To clear the images,
       hold down for 3 seconds.
   -< SOS Panic Button >-
       Activate by pressing the "SOS" button in the middle of the remote control.
       You can also use this button to test the system.

-< Image Retrieval >-
       1) Press and hold the "<<REW" and "FF>>" buttons at the same time
           (Yellow LED light will start flashing)
       2) Press the left button on the remote control to "REWIND" through the images
       3) Press the right button on the remote control to "FF>>" through the images
       4) To keep a permanent record of events for later use, connect your VCR -
            begin recording and shuffle through the images.
       5) Press the right "FF>>" button on the remote and hold for 3 seconds
           to re-activate the system. This will return you to live video on the TV.

-< Alarm Verification using the built-in Microphone  >-
       While you are receiving your emergency call and message press the pound
       [#] key on your telephone and you can listen in on the location for 32 seconds.
       Press the pound [#] key again to continue listening.  

 -< LED Functions >-
  -< Green >-
       - GREEN light blinking - ARMING, 32 second set up
       - GREEN light when you come home-NO intrusion detected or NO new images stored.
   -< Yellow >-
       - YELLOW light is on when a number has been successfully stored.
        - YELLOW & GREEN light on when image retrieval is activated
   - < red >-
        - RED light when you press "SOS" or "ARM" button - memory is in full, retrieve images.
        - RED light when you come home - an intrusion occurred and images have been             captured.   
        - RED light when trying to "ARM", retrieve images
