--< FAQ>-- |
1)
What distance will
the Remote Control effectively transmit? -->Without
any obstacles, it will transmit approximately 7~10 meters or 30
feet. Due
to the radio transmission, it is important to keep the Remote Control
in
"line of sight" to the ESS-700. |
2) What is the effective range of the Microphone?
--> Since it depends on how loud the sound is,
there is no actual range. The
microphone is very sensitive and will be able to pick up most sounds
around
the ESS-700. |
3) What is the difference between 50Hz Vs 60Hz
in the technical specifications? --> Normally
either 110v 60Hz or 220v 60Hz are the global power requirements.
In
order for the ESS-700 to function in all the countries properly,
it must meet the
required available power sources. In special cases that require
different adapter
specifications, the adapter would have to be purchased in that specific
country.
However, we have the resources to locate adapters for a specific
countries
requirements. |
4) Can two Remote Controls be used with one ESS-700
unit? --> No, the Remote Control has a designated
code transmission that is specific to
the ESS-700 unit. The option to have two Remote Controls work with
one ESS-700
unit is possible, but is only a special order item that has to be
pre-arranged
before hand with our sales department and technical staff.
|
5) When does the ESS-700 begin to start capturing
images? --> Once the PIR detects a motion, it
is a matter of a couple of seconds and the
ESS-700 will begin to capture the images to memory. |
6) What if a detected object stops moving or
disappears from the camera view, does
the ESS-700 continue to capture images? -->The
ESS-700 captures images in "five second intervals". If
there is no movement
detected after the ESS-700 has triggered, the unit will stop
capturing
images, but will still remain in activation mode. |
7) How do you erase the images that are captured
on the ESS-700's memory? --> The images will
be deleted automatically when...[a] you press SOS button and
it begins to capture new images or [b] the ESS-700 is armed
for intruder
detection. |
8) What does the Red light mean? -->
When the RED light appears on the ESS-700, this means that there
are images
stored that haven't been looked at. |
9) How do you delete the programmed telephone
numbers? --> In order to delete a 1st programmed
phone number from the ESS-700's memory,
you simply press "1" and the "A" button
with out keying in any numbers
in-between. For 2nd programmed phone number, press 2 and
the
A button without keying in any numbers in-between
|
10) What happens if no one picks up the phone
that is receiving the out call from
the ESS-700? --> The ESS-700 is programmed to
let the phone, on the receiving end, ring
for 10 rings. Then it will dial the second number in que
that has been programmed
in. When the call is received, an emergency message from the
ESS-700 will alert. You can hear what's going on at the location
by pressing
the pound[#] key on your telephone. At this point you can decide
either
to stop calling other programmed numbers by pressing " * *
" on
your phone, or let it ring to the other numbers by hanging up the
phone. Even
if you don't hang up the phone, it'll start automatically calling
other numbers
in 30 seconds. Be aware that when you press the pound[#] key,
sound
detection will end in 30 seconds. If you want to continue listening
in on
the site further, you can press the pound[#] key again before the
30 seconds is
up. |
11) What happens if the receiving line is busy?
--> The ESS-700 will begin calling the next number
in que. After the complete sequence
of numbers has been called, the ESS-700 will call back the
numbers
that were not successfully notified. The ESS-700 keeps the numbers
in memory, as long as you pressed A at the end of the telephone
numbers
that were programmed. The numbers will not be stored in memory
if
the power "shuts off" in the middle of programming. |
