 - FGD System - (for new chimney or
                          re-lining of used chimney)

   - Protex, the Borosilicate Foam Glass Block lining,
     has become an acceptable solution for the duct     
     work of wet scrubbers and chimney linings owing
     to its acid corrosion resistance superiority for
     Flue Gas Desulfurization of fossil Fuel burning     
     chimneys.
   - Protex Block has been proven as the acid
     corrosion problem solver. 
   - When a brick liner is either in a state of disrepair     
     and/or is in good shape but being retrofitted
     with a wet scrubber unit, the Borosilica Foam
     Glass Block lining, in Flue Gas Desulfurization
     Design has become most popular among FGD
     system Design Engineers.
   - In effect, the Protex Block can turn an old brick    
     line into a virtually new wet gas handling chimney      
     which could not be protected by acid resitant
     bricks as the bricks would turn into mud owing
     to the moisture.   
   - For wet acid corrosion protection, the Protex
     Block is the only solution which is also the most      
     economical solution in the long term running.

 - Steel Furnace - 
   - Protex Block successfully serves furnaces behind     
     refractory ceramic fiber modules.
   - Besides being a superior insulator, Protex Block's
     low thermal coefficient of expansion is ideally
     suited for backing up ceramic linings in      furnaces.

         Foam Glass Block Applications    

 - LPG/LNG Storage Tanks or Pipes -
   - As Protex, an inorgani substance, has chemical      
     resistance and Heat/Cold resistance and high      
     compressive strength, it can be used stably for
     the internal organs of the storage tanks or
     carrier tanks of liquefaction oil, gas, natural gas,     
     oxygen/carbon (nitrogen) dioxide.
   - Also Protex has a wide range of service      
     tempreatures, so it can be used for insulating the      
     LNG/LPG storage tanks, carrier tanks and its pipe     
     linings, water pipe, and oil pipe linings, etc. 

 - Incinerator -
   - Incinerator ductwork and stacks burn waste      
     (usually Municipal Solid Waste, hazardous or
     medical waste) and yield high temperature flue   
     gases that does not present severe corrosion    
     problems during operation.  The corrosive nature
     of gas tends to be more HCL from assorted paper     
     and plastics found in the waste.
   - The on/off cycling of these units can allow    
     condensation to form between cycles.   Protex
     has successfully protect any incinerator units
     so that a long term reliable operation is assured. 
   - Any lining experiencing altenating between high     
     temperature gas and ambient temperatures goes    
     through severe internal stresses and challenges
     the longevity of such linings. Protex is uniquely      
     designed to handle these swings in tempreature.

 - Water proof -
   - As Protex's organizations are cross cell, the stains of moisture are less than 0.2% by volume.
   - Protex will not absorb water.  This efficiency is useful for a wide field of industries.  

 - Fire proof -
   - As Protex is 100% glass without binders or fillers, it simply can not burn, even when in direct
      contact with intense flames.

 - Sound proof -
   - As Protex's organizations are cross cell, Protex will not absorb sounds. This function is useful
     in a wide field of industries.

 - Vermin proof -
    - As Protex is made with inorganic substance, Protex will prevent damage from vermin,
      insect, bacterium, etc.  This efficiency is very important to role for insulation of pipes
      and equipment underground.
